2026-2027 Competition Season Dates: September 8th - June 27th
Performance Schedule: We typically have 1-3 community performances scheduled between November + January. We will also have our end of the year recital in May.
Competition Schedule: We typically compete at 4-5 regional competitions between the months of February + May. These competitions take place in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck and Minneapolis. Our final competition is Nationals schedule for June 22-27th in Duluth, Minnesota!
Our Competitive Team is designed for all levels of dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level. Team members receive additional instruction in technique, performance quality, teamwork, and confidence while representing Reign Dance Studio at regional + national competitions, conventions, community events, and studio performances throughout the season.
At Reign, we believe competitive dance is about more than winning awards—it’s about building strong, disciplined, respectful dancers who encourage one another and strive to be their personal best. Our coaches are committed to creating a positive, challenging environment where every dancer has the opportunity to grow.
We offer competitive opportunities for dancers ages 5+, with teams placed based on age, ability, commitment, and overall audition results. Whether you're new to competitive dance or have years of experience, we have a team that's the right fit for your dancer.
2026–2027 Auditions
August 23–25th at Reign Dance Studio!
Ages 5–8....Sunday & Monday: 5:30–6:30 PM.
.....Tuesday (Final Audition): 5:30–6:30 PM
Ages 9–14.....Sunday & Monday: 6:30–7:30 PM
......Tuesday (Final Audition): 6:30–7:30 PM
Dancers should wear all black athletic or dance attire, have their hair securely pulled back, wear tennis shoes all three days, and bring their dance shoes and a water bottle.
Team selections and practice schedules will be emailed by 5:00 PM on August 26th.
